I loved you, and I probably still do.　　　　　　我曾經愛過你；愛情，也許。

And for a while the feeling may remain.　　　　 在我的心靈裡，還沒完全消失。

But let my love no longer trouble you.　　　　   但願它不會再打擾你。

I do not wish to cause you any pain.                       我也不想再使你難過悲傷。

I loved you; and the hopelessness I knew,              我曾經默默無語，毫無指望地愛過你。

The jealousy, the shyness - though in vain -           我既忍受著羞怯，又忍受著嫉妒的折磨。 

Made up a love so tender and so true.                    我曾經那樣真誠，那樣溫柔地愛過你。
